About the Market
Serving the Henderson and Vance County community since 2014.
Our Story
The Vance County Regional Farmers Market was established in 2014 to connect local farmers directly with consumers and strengthen the agricultural economy of the Kerr-Tar region. Operated under the jurisdiction of Vance County, the market provides a covered, accessible space where families can find fresh produce, honey, baked goods, crafts, and more.
Today, the market serves as a community hub, hosting monthly events, accepting nutrition benefits like SFMNP, WIC, and SNAP/EBT, and offering programming for all ages.
Our Mission
To provide equal opportunity for farmers to sell their products directly to consumers in a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere, while being a good neighbor and sensitive to our community.
